What is the session is all about?Reading habits enhance knowledge, creativity, critical thinking, and empathy, contributing to personal growth, broader perspectives, and lifelong learning.Why did we create such a community?We created this community to inspire and support young readers in developing a daily reading habit, fostering a love for books, and nurturing lifelong learning and personal growth.What is the goal or objective?Committing to 15 minutes of daily reading online with others fosters accountability, motivation, and a sense of community around shared intellectual growth and personal enrichment. It also promotes focus, reading, and respectful participation.AudienceThese sessions are primarily intended to benefit children aged 8 to 14 years old. However, the sessions are open to anyone who is committed to developing a daily reading habit, regardless of age.Structure:What happens during each session?During each session, participants join a single platform, choose a book of their choice, and engage in uninterrupted reading for 20 minutes.How does it work?These daily sessions are here to help you build a consistent reading habit. By dedicating time each day, you'll gradually develop a routine that enhances your focus, knowledge, and enjoyment of reading.This habit is particularly beneficial for children and young adults as it fosters literacy skills, expands vocabulary, and cultivates a love for learning from an early age.We encourage you to read a physical book rather than a digital one, though it’s not mandatory. Our goal is to promote screen-free time for reading. Try your best to do that.What are the activities or tasks participants will engage in?Once a week, we will introduce a topic for you to explore and expand your knowledge, regardless of its scope. At the end of each month, you'll have an opportunity to test your understanding of these topics through an online quiz created by us using Google Forms.Scores will be shared with everyone. This is not a competition but an opportunity for knowledge building.
