ABOUT US
Smt. Deepa Sadasivam is an accomplished Bharathanatyam dancer. She is an alumna of Kalakshetra Foundation has done post-graduation in dance in the University of Madras. She has completed M.Phil in Tamilnadu University, Thanjavur.
She is the founder and director of Kalpavruksha, School of Fine Arts, dedicated to cherishing the traditional values especially Bharathanatyam, Temple architecture, heritage culture and tutoring for grade exams. She is also the outreach faculty member of Kalakshetra, training numerous Government school students by connecting dance with academics.
She shines with her splendid performances in numerous places including Natyanjali of Chidambaram, Madurai and Namakkal to mention a few. Her recitals abroad include Malaysia and Singapore. She is honoured with titles like Natya Mayuri, Natya Shironmani (Karur Natyanjali) and (Athivaradar) Natyakala Bhushanam by Tejas Institute.
