Increment from move No. 1. Tie Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come into effect. The cash prizes however will not be shared. Appeals Committee: Five members appeals committee shall be formed. No member of the committee can vote on dispute in which a players from his own state is involved and in such cases, the reserve can take his place in the committee. Registration (UKCA) is compulsory for all karnataka participants. The registration fee of Rs. 100/- will be accepted at the venue for the convenience of the players. AICF Registration (Rs. 250/-) is compulsory for all INDIAN participants. Protest, if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter, shall be made in writing with protest fee of Rs.1000/- within 30 minutes of the occurrence of incident. Protest fee will be refunded, if the appeal is upheld. No request towards waiver of entry fee will be entertained. The organizers have the right to reject any entry without assigning any reason thereof. The players who have already played in unauthorized tournaments, are not eligible to play.
