However, he still managed to wriggle his way out, got into the box, foxed a couple more defenders before striking the ball between the outstretched fingers of keeper and the right post. What a goal!

After receiving the ball at the half line, sidestepping one and nutmeging another defender, Messi blast into full speed with 2 defenders chasing. He managed to dodge 3 more before sidestepping the keeper, and sending the ball above a sliding defender at an acute angle. His teammates – Ronaldinho, E’to and Gudjohnsen – all great footballers in their own right – were seen holding their heads in disbelief.
